By car:
The best way to reach the City Airport by car is via the Rhein-Neckar-Schnellweg (Freeway) (B38a), where Airport symbols ✈ will guide you to the Neuostheim exit.
You will reach Rhein-Neckar-Schnellweg from Mannheim City, from Heidelberg via the A656 (Mannheim-Neckarau exit), via the A6 from the direction of Frankfurt/Saarbrücken, or from Karlsruhe at the Mannheim freeway intersection.
There is ample car parking available at the City Airport terminals. For Cirrus Airlines passengers, free parking is available.

By public transport:
The Mannheim City Airport is connected to city and regional transport via the Neuostheim stop. This stop is approximately 300 metres from the airport and can be reached on foot within minutes. The line is serviced by light rail on routes 5 (OEG) and 6, as well as bus route 50.
Route 5 connects the airport directly with the cities of Mannheim and Heidelberg, while line 6 travels through Mannheim City on to Ludwigshafen. The bus route provides a fast, direct connection to the northern and southern districts of Mannheim city. Tickets for the trip (price category 2 in Mannheim), as well as value-saving daily and group tickets, can be obtained from automatic machines located at stops.
Both light rail routes operate every 10 to 20 minutes from around 6am until 8pm weekdays, and every 15 to 30 minutes on evenings and weekends.
